Cotton Candy Bugger

Fly Materials

Tail White marabou with 6 or so strands of some type of flash to match hackle. Tuft of marabou from bottom of hackle stem, color to match flash and hackle.
Body Fine or ultra fine chenille, normally black, but sometimes to match hackle.
Rib Silver oval or round tinsel, counter-wrapped over and through the hackle to secure it to the body and hook.
Hackle Long hackle, the type of stuff you would use for woolly buggers. I generally use kingfisher blue, silver doctor blue, scarlet, canary, and most of the fluorescent colors. Sometimes, I use a Whiting Hackle Black Laced White Hen Neck at the head of the fly,

NOTES: Works great on steelhead. My uncle in says that they
also work great on bass and panfish, also, if you use a big hook he says that he
has  had pike and muskie follow it to the boat.
