Seems
to me that this fly has been around forever. I have fished it in pools
and runs as well as on quiet lakes, especially late in the evening, and
must say it has taken it's share of fish. In Alaska it was my favorite
dry fly
for many years, and the greyling loved it.
I
don't know the origin and would appreciate anyone that knows it's
history to let me know so I can add it here. I do know it has managed
to stay popular for a long time.
