Instructions: Tie in a few pheasant tail fibers as tail. Mount two 6" long strands of antron yarn and make the abdomen with them using the crocheting technique. Cover about half of the shank with the antron. Tie in a piece of swiss straw which is to be used as a wing case. Dub almost the rest of the shank as thorax and fold the swiss straw over and on top of the dubbing. Finally add a few pheasant tail fibers at each side of the thorax as legs. Whip finish and laquer the head. |
