Notes: All materials are Clearwater Dressing. This is my favorite streamer for the past 40+ years. This Dace reaches a length of 4 inches. It ranges from northern Alabama and Georgia to western North Carolina and Virginia, up the middle Atlantic states to New England and west through the Great Lakes to the eastern Dakotas and Canada. It prefers rocky runs and pools of headwaters, creeks, and small rivers. The breeding male is golden-yellow or red below the black stripe in mid-April to mid-June. |
