I'm a little confused on what you mean? Three fly patterns one must have? Or are you having a problem thinking of 3 fly patterns? What type of fish, maybe we can help ? Or you just having a hard time tying any pattern pattern?

If your talking top side a foam beetle tied with a peacock body is deadly.
Debbie HDebbie H on Saturday, 18 February 2012 20:15

A simple marabou twist nymph works wonders on them. Keep the tail short as im sure you know, those blues are short strikers.

Are those flies you posted your creation? Or do you have a link? This way i can see what your trying to explain. What is rubber skit? Sorry but you got me on that material in :Trees & Snaggers
Colin DanenbergerColin Danenberger on Wednesday, 16 November 2011 04:04

rubber skit is from a spinier-bait like. this link will help.:)

http://www.basspro.com/Strike-KingĀ®-Hack-Attack-Heavy-Cover-Spinnerbaits/product/10215472/231609

that stuff on the spinner bait, that is called a rubber Skirt is a bait or spin cast rods usually are use to catch mainly large mouth bass and sometimes any big game fish.

in non-fly fishing the bait is the wight not the line.and the line is in Lb or KILO, in my country we use Lb to equal a pound like, 1 Lb is one pound or the wight of the fish.

Colin DanenbergerColin Danenberger on Wednesday, 16 November 2011 04:07
