I think that L.P. stuff cures at a different wavelength than the LED lights have. I think I'm going to go with Bug Bond or Clear Cure Goo too. I noticed that they were using the same LED light that I have in their ads and in the videos that I've seen. I think LP needs a flourescent UV light.

I haven't tied anything in a couple of days. Tuesday I had another infusion of Remicade
and yesterday my wife and I spent most of the morning at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor
getting tests, xrays done on me. I will supposedly hear back from them in about a week.
Today I've spent most of the day in bed recovering from the infusion of Remicade. Bummer!
I saw on the weather report that it's going to be in the low 70's here in lower Michigan on
Sunday and Monday. Rain tomorrow and high about 45*. Tight lines everyone! :)

A lady that works at Michael's and found some for me for $9.99 and I had a
40% of and got it for around $6.00. I now need to get a UV light. Are those UV lights
on Ebay any good? They sell for about app. $4.00 and up.

I looked hard for the Lisa Pavelka UV resin at Michael's and a few other craft stores and couldn't find it. I got some bad info on that source. Anyway, I ordered some from Amazon.com and got a good price. I guess I should have done that to start with. $8.37 including S&H for 1oz. (About $15 everywhere else.)There is a 6oz bottle for $35 but I thought that would be too much stuff.

We were fishing Lake Michigan out of Frankfort it was the first fish
of the morning (6:30 am) . I fought the 15 lb king salmon for 45 minutes
will the other guys caught and landed 4 other salmon. She wore me out!

That,s a fine bluegill in your avatar Thomas-just trying to think of the last time I landed a fine bluegill and the memory goes back to August, 1959 on Lake Louise, eastern South Dkota-just over thwo pounds on a size 12 black gnat dry fly. Would certainly love to get back a again and try for the big bluegills and even bigger large and smallmouths in that lovely lake.

Thanks Byron! I thought I had a bass on when I caught him. My 3rd largest I've ever caught. My other bluegills I caught were, 11.5" and 12.25" caught on consecutive cast on a popper.

Most difficult...Hmm Getting the proportions right on different size hooks is hard for me. Crowding the eye is a problem too but I'm getting better at it with practice (new patterns give me trouble in this regard). Right now I'm really struggling with swept wings on traditional wet flies.

Thanks Chris and Debbie! Spent most of the day in bed today, feeling better tonight. My good friend from Owosso, MI and he's been walleye
fishing a few times already on the Saginaw River and has gotten into them pretty good. It's killing me too with him sending me messages about all the walleyes he's catching! Grrrr! LOL!
