One afternoon at L.L. Bean I saw a man tying saltwater flies.  From that point on I wanted to tie flies so my parents bought me a Premium L.L. Bean fly tying kit.  It took me about two years until I got good enough to sell them at Fly Rod Jackie’s Fly Fishing Shop. 

I'm a thirteen year old Fly Tier and I have been tying for 3 years.  I have taken lessons from Selene A. Dumaine.  

I enjoy tying Carrie Stevens’ flies and many others.  Now I own my own business, Mac’s Fly Tying.  I have tied about 265 flies for Fly Rod Jackie's fly shop and hopefully many more to come!  

I love to fish with my flies on Maine’s rivers, ponds, and lakes.  My other hobbies are Woodworking, Mechanics, and Drawing.
