I started fishing when I was six years old, back in 1973, with the typical bobber + "red garden fly" style.  In my teens I started fly fishing, and I especially enjoy fishing for trout and grayling on small Danish streams , Atlantic salmon fishing in Sweden, and fishing for pike during the winter in Denmark. 

I don't define my best moments fishing by the size of fish caught, though my favourite catch was a gorgeous 24" brown trout caught on a 3wt. outfit in heavy currents on a size 18 CDC emerger.  The biggest fish I have caught is a 20 pound pike from a local lake. 

I have been tying flies for the last 16 years and think it is a great way to spend the cold winter evenings.
