Belarmino Martinez is is a well known master fly tier and Spain's best known professional classic salmon fly dresser.  Many of his innovations are named after rivers in Spain.  

Belarmino passed away recently (2000) and his loss has been felt throughout the fly tying world, especially in Spain.  He will be remembered as one of the greatest Atlantic Salmon fly tiers in the world.
